My Friend Jesus
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
Jesus called me 'friend' and died for me nearly 2,000 years ago.
When I asked Him to be my Savior and Lord,
His blood, public execution on a Roman cross, and resurrection from the grave
paid my debt of sin, rescued me from hell and myself, took away my guilt,
brought His presence into my heart to transform my life,
and guaranteed my future in heaven with Him for eternity.
His mouth is full of sweetness. And He is wholly desirable.
This is my Beloved and this is my Friend. Song of Solomon 5:16

There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

The LORD your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy. Zeph. 3:17

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
Jesus counsels, corrects, comforts, protects, and cheers me.
He teaches, guides, enlightens, provides, and forgives.
He is my constant Companion and makes my life make sense.
"For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope."  Jeremiah 29:11
He's waiting to hear from you.

Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
Jesus is coming back soon, and friendships in Him will never end.
In My Father's house are many dwelling places; I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3
